Judge Eileen Cannon is perhaps the most famous US district judge in the United States right now. She was assigned to preside over a very unusual civil suit that Trump brought, which sought to appoint a special master to review the documents seized by the FBI at Mar-a-Lago last summer. So it was quite surprising to see this morning to wake up to reports that she'd been assigned to this case as well.
