The Only Way to End the War Is to Lift the Vast Majority of the Sanctions
Sally Kohn: Why do you think that the only way to end the war would involve lifting the vast majority of the sanctions? She says even if they come out of this with no more active conflict but controlling the region that they wanted to control and the same sanctions, do we think that there's no scenario in which that's still worth it to them? Kohn: Without Russian reparations for the, what, 500 billion euros worth of damage done to Ukraine without Russian accounting for people within its ranks who've committed war crimes, I don't think Ukraine would be prepared to end the War without those two.
