"I can read something and be like, sisn't work. Ok, she's dead," he says of Octavia butler. "You've made me a better reader." He adds that critical reading could not be taught in schools because of the ways in which the educational industrial complex is screwed up. The show will go on beyond this season - it'll continue to talk about books forever.
