I thought I was a decent writer coming into writing a book. I got disabused of that very quickly. And so learning where the stories are is also a real skill. The other important part of the storytelling process is allowing people to see themselves in the position of the person you're describing. That's one of our concerns with, and this is a more ephemeral idea of like medical communication generally.
