The Review of Age-Adequate Materials in English Schools
In Wales, RSE is a mandatory part of the new curriculum for all primary and some secondary school children. The Prime Minister brought forward this review to look at how parents should be involved in their child's education. There has been commissioning of guidance for teachers which appears to be one of the central points here. But I think the first thing the report is going to do is to understand what is the current picture, what is the framework. It is, of course, we should say fairly recent in terms of statutory requirements and the curriculum - so teachers have an awful lot to get their heads around us.
