The island of palmyra is uninhabited, but there are some people who live there. The lagoon is a breeding ground for black top ars - one of the most aggressive sharks in the pacific. There's still some type of fish that are edible and quite tasty even, but most of them are pretty toxic. It just birds flocking every single surface trying to peck at things, pooping everywhere. This was not the island, the paradise that she imagined. Her dream had been shattered. But thankfully it wasn't deserted, because theywould have ben in very big trouble.
