Day to day life in Northern Ireland during the Tribbles was 'utterly strange' People wanted to do the same things as they did anywhere else, but were constrained. Communities could be very close and you would find varying degrees of support for paramilitary groups in those communities. The better all-class Belfast often didn't get out of touch with one another. It is even if these groups aren't involved, there are still people who feel that way.
