What's Behind the Parents in Maine Who Won This Case?
The court ordered a school district to pay parents for their children's tuition at a private christian academy where the curriculum is biblically based, with religion integrated through all content areas. The other big decision was on state funding for religious schools. There are 37 state constitutions that band the direct or indirect use of taxpayer money for religious schools and all that now seems to have been pealed.
