Rishi Sunak, Is Borrowing Cheaper a Good Idea?
There seems to be a feeling, at least among Rishi Sunak backers, that waiting will mean that the cost of borrowing goes down further. That with borrowing cheaper, it will give him a little bit more wiggle room. I wonder if there is a prospect of that for those listeners who are worried about more cuts to public services.
