The Importance of Good Theology
The Apostle Paul has the most to say explicitly about the doctrine of justification in the New Testament. In James 2 we read the Apostle James writing that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone. Martin Luther called the book of James an epistle of straw and he denigrated it.
