Are CDs Guaranteed to Last Forever?
The CDs that you, as a consumer, were recording onto had a much lower lifespan. So for a DVD, a dual layer, right, uh, writable DVD, it's five to 10 years. You have to go to the CDRs, CD, writable CDs with the gold metal layers. Those are greater than a hundred years of average longevity. If I remember right, like you paid a premium for those things.
