The Effects of Minimum Wage Law on Youth Unemployment

In 1948, black teenage unemployment was 9.4%. Today it's over 40%. The labor force participation rates of blacks were greater during the 40s and 50s than whites. In 1989 I wrote a book called South Africa's War Against Capitalism. And you see the motivation that is companies would hire a laborer and they had to pay a white guy $3 an hour but they get away hiring a black for 50 cents per hour.
