If you do not empower your staff to quickly get rid of things that could be big problems for people's safety, then Twitter stops being a safe place on the internet. There are already examples of this that reporters at outlets like The Washington Post have talked about. And advertisers who do not want to run their ads against accessible aren't going to like that in the long run either.
