The father pursues his people, gives them promises keeps those promises makes covenant with his people. And you can trace that down through Old Testament history of him being the God of Noah, the God of Abraham,. The God of Isaac, theGod of Jacob and David. He is a life giver, maker, creator, presence, love, diligently pursuing patience, kindness. I tell my people, whenever I have opportunity to reference the book of kings, if that doesn't show you the patience of God, I don't know what will.
