I Have Gotten a Man, Namely the Lord

Eve says, I have gotten a man, namely the Lord. She calls him Yahweh because this is actually the divine name. Adam and Eve understood that God was going to send a seed. He would be the woman's seed. And he would be the one to undo the work of the serpent. They made the mistake of in their excitement and in their faith, thinking that it was going to happen right away.
