The Ripple Effect of the Banking Crisis in the UK

Bank lending conditions is sort of what we're talking about here. If you're a technology company in the US, suddenly you're without a bank that you used to be able to call up an ask for a loan. So there's a ripple effect in terms of everyone gets affected by this. And meanwhile, back in the good old UK, and I don't get this at all. We've got stubbornly high inflation over 10%. But yet the good old British public keep on spending. Retail sales figures, boom. And confidence for March, booming too. Is everyone but me got a pay rise then, Ben? No, that's not the case, unfortunately.
