Robin works undercover and his job is to open the Babel doors to the Ermies members. It's always at the cover of night. He helps them with their heists because there is a biometric lock to the doors of Babel. So only he, so only enrolled staff and students can enter the tower anytime or trigger the magical automated turrets. And yeah, so he moonlights as the inside man for the silver thebes for most of book two while attending classes.
