Dr. Rouge went on the run from Bulgaria in October last year. She was being investigated by the FBI for money laundering and tax evasion. Her mentor, American financier Gilbert, became an informant to help with her case. He started recording phone calls between them just before she disappeared. The BBC team have been given a memory stick which they hope will reveal more about Dr. Rouge's life. They listen to hours of recordings made days before she vanished.
