Introduction
International law scholar terro lunsted gives his thoughts on the russian invasion of ukraine. The U.N. Security council failed to pass a condemnation because Russia holds a permanent seat, and therefore could veto the action all by itself. China abstained in the vote to condemn the action, just as they abstained when a similar vote came up years earlier regarding russia's actions in crimea. It doesn't take einstein to understand that the flimsy legal guments that russia used to justify invasion in ukraine are the same ones that china might be using sometimes soon themselves.
