The UBI in Post-Work Socialism
There are about 10,000 different kinds of arguments for UBI as you say and it's impossible to really address them all at once. I'm just trying to make an argument about how post-work socialism thinks about freedom through this crucial policy device. For the UBI to be emancipating in the way they say right somebody has got to be producing all those goods that you buy right but who's doing that right so it's presupposing all this necessary labor. There's something very deceptive about saying this is a free society in the sense that nobody's forced to work and we can be indifferent to what people do at their free time.
