A principal meeting is when you come with your recommended action or takeaway. You think ahead and think, ok, if this is approved, here's what next steps would look like. And that's really what you want to come out of every single meeting, is next steps,. I don't want be in a 30 minute meeting and then have to join another meeting two days later to do based on what we discussed in the last meeting. It actually makes your meetings meaningful because you are talking about not just process or challenges, but you're discussing and debating ideas n action, actions, and then you are ending with next steps.
