The View From Hever Castle

The lake is connected to the river eden, which meanders eastwards away from the castle grounds. A weir controls the water levels and can be mechanically raised or lowered depending on conditions. The continuous flow of water over these rocks exudes a soothing sound. In the summer visitors may also notice an abundance of butterflies.
