The Pro-Russia Position in the Middle East

I think that diplomacy is an important tool. I feel like nowadays everybody takes the most kind of strident position. If you're not there advocating for yourself at the table, where's your voice really? And this is something that it's hard for people in the west to understand: non-alignment does not mean condoning war. It means that you're a small state preserving and stiggy ... trying to make the best of what is a very chaotic environment.
