Making Decisions From a Place of Discipline
In Philippians chapter two, Paul says that we are called to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. The Bible doesn't operate in such a way that we must pay attention to the clues, the breadcrumbs that lead us to the truth of God. To discern is to make a distinction between the voice of Jesus and the other voices that tend to fill our hearts and mind.
