She gives birth in a hospital and she knows very little about what's going to happen. She had read a book by someone called Grantley Dick Reed, who was an early advocate of hypnobirthing. So after birth, she is confined to her bed for three days. And she says that she and the other women on this maternity ward where she spends two weeks feel like they're treated like idiot children.
