The Importance of Motivation to Vote

Even Democrats, even Democrats can clearly see this as a political indictment. 93% of Republicans and 70% of independent voters think it's motivated by politics. If you wanted to want Trump, you had lots of reasons. You didn't need any new reasons. Nobody needed a new reason for anything. All of our old reasons are just as good as they need to be. But the one thing that could change is motivation to actually vote. That could change. Because I have to say, I felt more likely to vote because it made me angry. And anger is not really your best reason for voting, but I'm glad we have the option.
