The only treaty ever offered to aoriginal people was signed by aboriginal elders. Billy bellary, in 18 forty three asked for land and said we will farm it like white people. He is also key in getting good relations going, rather than violent relations. And of course, he's got an aspiration, which aboriginal people never forget and keep pursuing.
