The Slowing Economy and the Rate of Cut
The growth rate in the economy has been cooling Since the spring of 2021, but what's been interesting about this cycle versus cycles in the past is that Growth was pushed to such an extremely elevated level. A lot of the traditional sectors and assets that would perform well in slowing growth environments haven't Performed well. The Fed has had this prolonged window in which they're able to raise interest rates so people are lulled into thinking it will be a cyclical slowdown.
