Kaspersky: A new variant of the system BC malware called Droxi.d is being used as a precursor to a suspected ransomware attack. The identity threat actor behind the wave of attacks is currently unknown, but it's suspected to be pistachio tempest. Kaspersky has not yet named the country in question.
