The Benefits of a Cryptocurrency
The US seems to have a big benefit when it comes to having it as the reserve currency. All trade like crude oil, gold, it's priced in dollars. They would rather that you price oil in their currencies or their products in their currency. So they don't have to take the risk of having the dollar exchange rate and ability of the US government to restrict dollar movements among them. I personally believe the next reserve currency is probably going to be a crypto currency. But I also think it might be 10 to 20 years away. It's not going to happen anytime soon because none of them are even remotely able to pay for all the lattes in Starbucks with the transaction speeds we have now
