Camel: A Non-Contradictional Approach to Programming
Camel is different than Haskell in the way that it doesn't necessarily track states. For example, you could write a function and in the middle of it throw a print statement in there. That seems like a very non-controversial thing to want to do. You still have to wear your conscious programmer hat at the cost of convenient. So far, I haven't really been burned badly with that.
