The Importance of Narrative to Analysis
Markets are not going to change in your lifetime for the mass of the population. Hurting can be a great thing though too because it gives you an opportunity to benefit. We inherently prefer narrative to data, often to the detriment of our own understanding. Keeping one's analysis and interpretation of the data reasonably objective is hard even in the best of circumstances.
