i don't think it's realistic to expect that everyone in the world is going to immediately patch this. Adversaries can have some adversary supplied input that will exploit this vulnerability. This is not single handedly going to bring down your entire network and cause ransom wear and stealing of data. These things happen as part of a chain. Try to mitigate where you can, try to patch where you can. But remember that, right?
