How to Bring Down Net Migration to the UK
There is some uncertainty about exactly how much you would have to pay in order to attract a lot of British people into the job. It's clear I think that most people want more than the minimum wage to do care work. You could invest a lot more money to improve paying conditions and attract more workers into the sector. Obviously that comes at a cost and the funding of social care has been really controversial for years now. In the long run, I think it's difficult to see a long-term solution that does involve some increases in pay.
