The life of lord northcliffe, britoin's greatest press, baron is out now. The idea of having a single person with so much power over the media can be quite controversial. Do you think someone like northcliffe paid mad a positive impact on british society? Or was it dangerous to give one man so much influence in the country without having been elected? i am a believer in the er in incompetition. I do think it sharpens up product and er and energies hugely.
