What's Different About the Symbolic Pact?
Lacan: I think it's these seminars that really gave him that status and then, and the writing down of them, I think is important. It suggests that he has something to say that's, that's different than other people. Lacan later wouldn't think that about the symbolic pact. In fact, I'm not even sure if he at the end of his life even believes in a symbolic pact anymore. And I love the way that he ties this into this critique of Darwinism, right? Oh, yeah. Yeah.
