The World Brain by H G Wells

The world brain is a collection of about five speeches that he gave, as well as a couple of kanaopead pieces following those speeches. The concepts and the ideas were accessible to the masses - even fairly popular. But nothing came of it in terms of creating an actual institution. And so i would say it inspired people, especially once we started moving towards electronic computers or transistor base computers.
