Do You Think the Long Bond Can Go to Three?
Patrick O'Mara: Is there the underpinning conditions for there to be one more leg lower in the long bonds in this window of time? He says if Powell felt like he had to offset the commodity rally so I think that could happen for sure okay. But as oil rallies Powell gets more hawkish and Federal Reserve raises rates, curve gets more inverted according to O'MARA. So it's actually two's that you want to be short if you believe that Powell will be extremely hawkish to offset an oil thing.
