Charlotte would always make low cry. And lo hate it any one seeing her cry. So humbert was trying to convince himself that lo is the one seducing him. He also noticed that charlotte started to get very jealous whenever he would pay attention to lo. Lo held his hand once, and he would stroke it ever so gently. And minit's clearer. Lo is kind of looking upon the sguys like a father figure. Charlotte was honestly not a good mum. She was emotionally neglectful. She hated low for some reason. But he was like, love that smell.
