The Power of the Pharaoh
The pharaoh was the most powerful person in ancient Egypt. He ruled with absolute power, but had deputies down to have priests and generals who worked for him. The ordinary people really didn't have a great deal to do with the faro at all. If you did something bad and you came to the attention of the pharaoh, for example, if you were a criminal or were captured in war, became a prisoner of war, or just an enemy, then he would fight you.
