Rick Medina, also known as Funky Cold, facilitates and co-hosts DC940 meetings (formerly Pwn School) in Denton, TX, and mentors cybersecurity enthusiasts. His interest in computers and technology began when his father taught him about cash registers and circuit boards. He worked his way up from desktop support to network administrator, kindling an interest in cybersecurity and ethical hacking. Rick focuses on OSINT and helping guide others interested in cybersecurity.
