Orpheus and the Viper

Orpheus played mournful, heart breaking dirges for months after his wife's death. He couldn't stand o stay in the house he had shared with his wife and so he travelled the world. His songs carried sadness to whoever would hear them - but even the gods cried for eurydice. One day while walking along the road, he was surrounded by beautiful strangers. They were nymphs, friends of eurydICE. And they gave their condolences and were sorry for his loss and all that, but really, he needs to cut it out with the emo music.
