The FAA System Outage

NBC News has learned that preliminary information suggests at least one, perhaps two contract employees may have caused the computer failure. Government sources say the contractors were among the eight who had access to the FAA's no-tam computer system and apparently edited a file causing it to become corrupted. Failure led to cascading delays and cancellations that affected hundreds of thousands of passengers.
