The Importance of Resurrection in the New Testament

The priestly office of Aaron being passed on to his sons is parallel to Christ as a resurrected and ascended priest. Paul calls us there much like he does in Ephesians four to put on the new man. It's not a material, immaterial distinction, but a full transformation in a spiritual mode of existence which extends even to the transformation and resurrection of our physical bodies.
