Hitler's Artistic Sensation
Hitler tried to get into the academy at vienna. He he thought he wasa artist than he was, and he thought it would be child's play for him to getting into the vienna academy. Even people like thomas mann, who despised hitler, wrote that you had to recognize that there was something of the artist in hitler and in his politics. I think you have to recognize that he saw this as a sort of artistic project.
