Pros and Cons of Alaminoplaste
A fixed cyphosis of greater than ten degrees is a contra indication to posterior decompression. This will not adequately compress the spinal cord, as it will be bow stringing anteriorly. Lamina plaste may be indicated in patients at high risk of pseudo arthrosis. It is also indicated in the setting of congenital cervical stinosis. Contra indications of alamino plaste include cervical cyphosis and severe axial neck pain.
