What Can We Learn From These Industrial Strikes?
There are some really quite large and sustained strikes in the early 20th century that are specifically around textiles textile workers. I was wondering what can we learn from these strikes kind of in this particular time period with so many people coming out in this sort of action. There is a sense in which looking at the 20th century story of labor action in garment history is really a story that tells us it can be doneThis doesn't have to be sweatshop work but I think the other side of the story also needs to be told.
