The Sacred Eye of Tuton Carmoon
The scarab beetle is a symbol of healing and wholeness. The sacred eye was placed on amulets to guarantee that the king's body would remain whole. One o the most poignant objects buried with him is a lock of his grandmother's hair. It sort of strips away all of that panoply of royalty an takes us sort of face to face with teuton cam and the boy.
