Is China Building a Different China?
We have to recognize that Xi Jinping is building a very different China. It's a vision that prioritizes security overgrowth. He believes that Chinese government believes they're in the early stages of a decades-long struggle for supremacy against the United States. That may actually lead to conflict. So much of this has to do with hardening the economy for the struggle that they feel is coming.
