The Importance of Being Kind and Compassionate

I was raised in a hierarchical patriarchal, et cetera culture. And I found myself thinking of myself as superior to people who didn't have a spiritual practice. So our minds can generate all this stuff. We could feel superior to those who believe in capitalism. It's very easy to create new hierarchies and to identify with hierarchy. Even fighting against hierarchy is identifying with it in a way.
